Hidden River Ranch : Our Activities

Team Penning and Roping, barrel racing, game days, team sorting, horse soccer, and miles of beautifully landscaped trails.

At Hidden River Ranch we entertain our guests with activities suited for the entire family. Members can compete in the outdoor arena participating in team roping, barrel racing, pole bending, horse soccer and cattle sorting.
We have recently included 40" horse soccer balls that the more inexperienced riders can use to sort or exercise their horse in a safe and fun manner.

Just a mile away from the ranch are miles of beautifully maintained horse trails perfect for the rider that wants to enjoy a leisurely ride with their horse in a forest type setting or alongside the winding Skykomish River.

Our 160' x 70' indoor arena can be used to accomodate you and your horse as a training area or you can join in on the fun games we play inside on hot days.

Horsing Around
August is when we hold our annual summer playday where friends, family and neighbors join in for a fun-filled event followed by a down-home BBQ. During our playdays, numerous obstacle courses are created for friendly competition and we also have the outdoor arena setup up to hold numerous timed events including cutting with cattle or if you prefer we offer the 40" horse soccer balls, barrel racing, flag carrying and so much more.

Team Roping latest event at Hidden River Ranch

Just added...
As summer approaches we are now hosting Monday and Thursday evening team roping events. This is an exciting and fun sport and weekly we have seen an increase in the growing members that want to participate.

So dust off those old cowboy boots, grab your lariats and get your chaps on for what is truly a fast-paced, action-packed time!

Other plans and activities include: camp sites with corrals, evening bonfires and BBQ's, poker rides, and horse clinics on healthy care and training for your horse and I believe I just heard a rumor about a 'mechanical bull' :)
